That's right, it's that day again. Do something silly or surreal or be forced to live this day over and over until you get it right. (And there's something about oversized rodents seeing their own shadow, never been able to understand it.)
Actually, I'm going to expand on it. This year - be surreal - or be forced to relive 2007 in it's entirety. And yes this is a threat
Here's my contribution to the cause. Actually, yesterday I came across a pic of some firemen standing by a truck and thought damn those are some ugly pants. Then my brain flipped back into its normal lascivious rut and soon I was doodling a hot chick in some damn ugly pants. Today I went to finish it up, noticed the date and tossed in the groundhog for fun.
It's not so silly afterall. Guess I'll have to get out the Big Wheel, my Richard Nixon Mask, Sombero, and see how long it takes Mall Security to corner me in the food court.

GHD is sort of a moody point with me, since my dad died on Jan 28th in '94, and we buried him in Missouri on Feb 2nd... but I'm glad to see something that can lift my spirits.

Bugs : "Er, um . . . a Hare-um. I t'ink?"
[Smokey the Genie pops out, looks in the door quickly, amid more shrieks, then grins at Bugs]
Smokey : "Oh, THAT was a harem, alright! I know a harem when I see one!"
Sexy, scantily clad babes and happy rodents, What's not to love about this holiday?
For me Groundhog day is always remembered as the day when our family's old dog Niki would go hunt the little rodents, it's a lovely way to teach a 5 year old about death. (on another note, Niki was half husky and half wolfhound, and in her 13 years of life had 9 confirmed kills)
Happy Groundhog day man!

"Ladies and gentlemen, suppose I come right out with it and admit to you now, that my old Martian hoax on the radio, was well, not exactly...a hoax."
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
